It offers submerged arc furnaces, electrode systems, electrode and furnace control systems, copper launders, and gas cleaning systems for non ferrous metals; direct reduction plants and DRI hot feeding system for direct reduced iron; and electric arc furnaces, ladle furnaces, vacuum degassers, and KT injection systems for steel. The company also provides reheating furnaces for ferrous and non ferrous materials; and heat treatment furnaces for steel, aluminum, and automobile industries. In addition, it offers roll grinders, roll loaders, chocking/de-chocking machines, roll lifting beams, roll transfer cars, roll defect management systems, roll shop management systems, data communication with upper level mill systems, eddy current and ultrasound inspection systems, other ancillaries, and service and spare parts. Further, the company provides cold rolling mills; and open cast mining equipment, yard equipment, and port equipment for mining and bulk handling applications. Tenova S.p.A. was formerly known as Techint Technologies SpA and changed its name to Tenova S.p.A. in February 2007. The company was founded in 1945 and is based in Milan, Italy.
